Declined fuel charges are not showing under Dockside Payments Reporting or Member’s transactions

Q - How come this declined fuel is not showing up under Dockside Payments or the member’s transactions in order for us to collect on it?


In order for it to appear in our system, the reservation has to have at least one payment attempt on it.  This usually happens when a dockhand flags it without attempting a charge. 


Q - How come I frequently see unpaid fuel in Payment Admin that does not have any attempts towards it?


Stored Method Payments – Reservation Details get sent to the Admin Portal along with the CIM method that should be charged. That is stored as a reservation in the portal and then the payment is processed. Transaction results results are written no matter if approved or declined. The Admin Portal has no record of these reservations or stored payment attempts in our system until the payment is submitted from AEM to process.


Manual Payments – Reservation Details get sent to Admin Portal so it can create the form. That is stored as an unpaid reservation in the Admin Portal until the payment is completed. Once the credit card form is submitted, transaction results are written. If the form is never submitted, the Admin Portal have no related transaction records in the system.
